I recently held two free events to demonstrate ACT v17 which was released on October 23. The first event was a live seminar in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday, October 15 at Nova Southeastern University. The second was a “virtual” webinar held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014; I was thrilled to have Benjamin Lederer, Act’s Senior Product Manager, with me.

The events featured training on Act!’s “power” features and included a Question and Answer session manned by Benjamin. Attendees had the opportunity to purchase Act! v17 at special discounted pricing and had a look at some of the new ACT CRM v17 enhancements including:
- E-marketing which means Act! users will have the ability to design and send e-marketing pieces in the newly designed editor and have more options for tracking their effectiveness directly within Act! .
- Smart Task improvements that will allow the automation of future actions based on field changes.
- Document Integration to popular tools including Dropbox, SharePoint and iCloud for better sharing of your information with your remote users.
Several lucky attendees from each event won free copies of Act Premium v17 and all attendees learned more about Act!

I hope this finds you doing well. We are still chugging along nicely w/the ACT 2010 you guys helped us with but will be looking at v. 17. My question is: will any of the v.17 platforms be compatible with any of the Office 365 options?
Hi Walter, absolutely, ACT v17 works with just about any version of Office including Office 2013. Just make sure that you do the full install, and select 32 bit mode.
